As summer begins to culminate, there are quite a few things to look forward to in Indianapolis this fall. One of these things undoubtedly being football. Football on every level is welcomed after a long summer sports drought in Indiana, from local high school action on Fridays to cheering on your Indianapolis Colts on Sundays.

This year, in our continued partnership with 1070 the Fan and Emmis Communications, Steffey Insurance Agency will be sponsoring Friday Night Football brought to you by 1070 the Fan this fall! Part of this sponsorship package includes mentions during the Friday Night ‘Game of the Week’ broadcasts and we will be presenting the ‘Keys to the Game’ during the Friday Night Football pre-game show. This is an incredible opportunity for us and we were more than happy to participate when asked by 1070 the Fan. We’ve always been proud supporters of local high schools in Central Indiana and believe high school sports provide such fantastic community building outlets and fun for people of all ages. Every Friday Night, 1070 chooses a game of the week and this years’ slate looks to be pretty outstanding. Here are the list games being covered by 1070  this year:

10/2: Pike @ Center Grove (Matt Taylor, Matt Surface)
10/9: Warren Central @ Carmel (Matt Taylor, Dick Dullaghan)
10/16: Westfield @ Brebeuf (Matt Taylor, Matt Surface)
As you can read above, 1070 the Fan does a good job of hitting very important match-ups within the Indianapolis metro area while still maintaining to hit many geographical areas as well. They will be covering North, South, East, and West Indianapolis during this slate of games. Many great teams and players will be covered the next 9 Fridays leading up to the state tournament. They will be covering the state tournament games as well but the schedule will not be released until pairings are decided.
